Privacy policy
This policy describes the personal information Lenditia collects, why, who receives it and what you can do about it. The short version: we collect what you type into our forms, and a financing request goes to companies that finance cars because you asked us to send it.

Who this policy covers
This policy applies to lenditia.com, run under the Lenditia name from 5955 Alpha Rd, Suite 520, Dallas, TX 75240, United States. “We” and “us” mean Lenditia. You can reach us at contact@lenditia.com or through the contact page.
Lenditia is an educational site about car loans. We are not a lender, a car dealer or a loan broker, and we do not make credit decisions. Companies that receive a financing request from us have their own privacy policies, which govern what they do with your information after they receive it.
What we collect
You can read every page and use every calculator without giving us any personal information. We collect personal information only in the situations below.
Financing requests
The financing request form (on /financing-request and at the end of many articles) has two steps.
- Step 1, the car and the loan: what you want to finance (a new car from a dealer, a used car from a dealer, a car from a private seller, a refinance or a lease buyout), how much you want to borrow, your approximate credit score band, your ZIP code and your timeline. Our server works out your state from the ZIP code.
- Calculator figures, if any: when you reach the form from one of our calculators, the form can carry the car price, APR and loan term you entered there, so the partner sees the same figures you were looking at.
- Step 2, contact details: first name, last name, phone number and email address, and your choice on the consent box, which is unchecked until you check it.
When you send the request, our server adds a record of the submission: the date and time, your IP address, the web address of the page with the form, the version of the consent text you saw, and whether your browser sent a Global Privacy Control signal. We do not record your browser’s user agent with the request. The form never asks for a Social Security number, a birth date, your income or bank details.
Contact form
The contact form asks for your name, email address, a topic and your message, and has a checkbox confirming that you understand we publish general information and cannot advise on your situation. We use what you send only to answer you and to fix the site.
Newsletter
If you subscribe on /subscribe, we collect your name and email address, plus a note of which version of the consent text you agreed to. Each newsletter email carries an unsubscribe link that works at any time.
Visits from our emails
Some links in our emails end with a campaign code placed after a #cid= mark. When a page opens from such a link, a short script on the page reads the code, clears it from your address bar, and sends a single “page_view” report containing that code to the /collect address on lenditia.com. Our server passes the report on to the email service provider that sends our emails, together with your IP address and browser type, so we can tell which emails led to an actual visit. If the address has no campaign code, the script sends nothing.
Other links in our emails look like lenditia.com followed by a short code. When you click one, our server forwards your IP address and browser headers to the same email service provider, which records the click and tells our server which page to open for you. Neither of these sets a cookie.
Calculators
Every calculator on the site does its math on your device. What you enter there stays put unless you choose to send a financing request, as described above.
Bot check and hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles the technical details every page request carries, such as your IP address and browser headers, to serve pages and to shield the site from abuse. Pages with a form also run Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that tells people from automated programs. Turnstile may collect browser and device signals to do that check. Our cookie page lists what is stored in your browser.
How we use information
- To deliver your financing request to the partners who may contact you about it, and to keep a record of your consent.
- To answer messages sent through the contact form or by email.
- To send the newsletter to subscribers.
- To see which of our emails lead to visits, and to keep the forms free of spam and automated abuse.
- To comply with the law, answer valid legal process, and protect ourselves against legal claims, including claims about consent to be contacted.
We do not use your information for advertising on this site, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Who receives it
- Partners. A financing request is sent to auto lenders, car dealers and loan brokers who work with Lenditia. They may contact you about the request by phone, text message or email, as the consent text says, and each decides whether and on what terms to offer financing. Once a partner has your request, its own privacy policy applies to it.
- Service providers. Web3Forms, a form delivery service, carries the contents of our forms to our inbox by email. Cloudflare hosts the site and runs Turnstile. Our email service provider sends the newsletter and receives the email visit and click reports described above. These providers handle the information to provide their service to us.
- Others when required. If the law requires it, or if it is needed to protect our rights or someone’s safety, we may disclose information. If the business behind the site is sold, the buyer may receive it, and this policy continues to apply to the information transferred.
Sale and sharing of personal information
Partners pay Lenditia for the financing requests visitors choose to send. Under some state privacy laws, passing personal information to another business in exchange for payment can count as a “sale”, even when the visitor asked for it to be sent. For that reason we treat the delivery of financing requests to partners as a possible sale and give you the choices described below.
We do not sell or share information from the contact form or the newsletter. We do not place advertising or analytics cookies, so we do not “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not collect information that state laws treat as sensitive, such as Social Security numbers, account log-ins or precise geolocation.
Federal financial privacy law
Because we pass requests from consumers to companies that offer credit, Lenditia may be treated as a financial institution for some purposes of the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the FTC rules under it. To the extent those rules apply to us, the nonpublic personal information in a financing request is shared only as this policy describes: with the partners you asked us to send it to and with the service providers that help us deliver it.
How long we keep it
- Financing requests and the consent record that comes with them: 5 years from the date you send the request.
- Messages through the contact form or by email: 2 years.
- Newsletter details: while you are subscribed.
The email copy of a request is the record we keep. Partners keep the copy they received under their own policies.
How we protect it
The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), form submissions are checked for automated abuse, and access to our inbox and accounts is limited to the people who run Lenditia. No method of sending or storing information is perfectly secure, so we collect as little as the forms need and do not ask for account numbers or Social Security numbers.
Your privacy choices
Rights under state privacy laws
California and a growing number of other states, including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and Oregon, have comprehensive privacy laws. Where one of these laws applies to you, it may give you the right to:
- find out which personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- ask us to delete your information;
- say no to the sale or sharing of your personal information;
- not be treated differently for using these rights.
Some of these laws may not apply to us, or may exempt information covered by federal financial privacy law. We answer requests from visitors in any state in the same way.
Opting out of sale or sharing
To opt out, email contact@lenditia.com with the subject “Do not sell or share” and the email address or phone number you entered on our form. We will not send future financing requests from you to partners without a new request from you, and we will tell the partners that already received your request that you have opted out.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as your request that your personal information not be sold or shared. The signal is recorded with any financing request you send, and partners receive it with the request. Because a financing request reaches partners only when you send it and ask to be contacted, sending a request with GPC turned on means: deliver this request, and do not sell or share my information further.
Access, correction and deletion
Send your request to contact@lenditia.com or through the contact page. Tell us what you want and give the name, email address and phone number you used on our forms, so we can find your records and confirm the request is yours. We may ask for one more detail to confirm your identity; we do not ask for documents. We answer within 45 days and will tell you if we need more time where the law allows.
When you ask us to delete a financing request, we delete our copy unless we need to keep the consent record to meet a legal obligation or defend a legal claim, and we will tell you if that is the case. We cannot delete the copy a partner already holds, but we will tell you which partners received your request so you can ask them directly.
Authorized agents and appeals
An authorized agent may make a request for you with your signed permission; we may ask you to confirm it directly. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our answer with the word “Appeal”. We will review the decision and reply within the time your state’s law sets. If you disagree with the result, you may contact your state attorney general.
Ending calls, texts and emails
- Texts: send STOP in reply to a text from Lenditia or a partner.
- Calls: tell the caller to stop calling you.
- All partners at once: email contact@lenditia.com or use the contact page and say you no longer want to be contacted about your request. We forward your opt-out to every partner that received your request. Under FCC rules, a revocation of consent must be honored within 10 business days.
- Newsletter: use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email.
Children
Lenditia is written for adults buying or paying off a car and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly gather personal information from anyone under 13; if you think a child has used one of our forms, write to us and we will delete what the child sent.
Changes to this policy
Each revision of this policy carries a new date at the top. Before a revision changes the way we use information we already hold, we will describe that change on this page. The consent texts on our forms carry their own version dates, and each form submission records the version you saw.
