About these terms

lenditia.com is run under the Lenditia name from 5955 Alpha Rd, Suite 520, Dallas, TX 75240, United States (“Lenditia”, “we”, “us”). These terms are an agreement between you and Lenditia about your use of the site. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information and is part of these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use Lenditia.

What Lenditia is and is not

Lenditia publishes general information about car loans and car buying in the United States. We are not a lender, a car dealer, a loan broker or a government agency. We do not take credit applications, make credit decisions, set rates, arrange loans or negotiate on your behalf, and we hold no lending or broker license. Our licensing page explains how to check the license of a company that contacts you.

Who may use the site

Lenditia is written for adults living in the United States, and you must be at least 18 to send any of our forms. You may send a financing request only for yourself, with your own name and contact details.

Information on the site

We research our pages from primary sources and list them on each page, but laws, rates and fees change, and a general explanation cannot account for every contract or situation. Information on Lenditia is provided for education only and is not legal, financial or tax advice. Before you act, check the facts that matter with the lender, your contract, your state regulator or a qualified professional. Our disclaimer says more about how to use the information.

Calculators and examples

The calculators and the examples in our articles give estimates worked out from your inputs and from the assumptions explained on our methodology page. They are not offers, and the payment, rate or price a lender or dealer gives you may be different.

Financing requests and partners

When you send a financing request, we pass it to auto lenders, car dealers and loan brokers (“partners”) who may contact you about it. Partners are independent businesses. Each decides for itself whether to offer you financing and on what terms, and its own terms and privacy policy apply to anything you do with it.

We do not promise that any partner will contact you, make you an offer, or offer a particular rate, payment or term. We are not a party to any agreement you make with a partner and are not responsible for a partner’s offers, decisions, products or conduct. Read every contract before you sign it.

The financing request form includes a consent box that is unchecked until you check it. By checking it and sending the form, you agree that Lenditia and the auto lenders, car dealers and loan brokers working with Lenditia may reach you about this request through calls, text messages and emails to the phone number and email address on the form, and that those calls and texts may use an automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice, including one generated by AI. The exact wording you see next to the button is the consent you give, and we record its version with your request.

  • Checking the box is not required to buy any product or service.
  • Your carrier’s message and data rates may apply.
  • Withdraw consent whenever you like, by any reasonable means: send STOP in reply to a text, ask the caller to stop calling, or email contact@lenditia.com or use the contact page. We forward opt-outs we receive to every partner that got your request. Details are under “Your privacy choices” in our privacy policy.

Accurate information

You agree that the information you send is true and is your own, and that the phone number you enter is yours or one you are authorized to use. Do not send a request in someone else’s name or with someone else’s phone number or email address.

Acceptable use

When you use Lenditia, do not:

  • break the law with it or use it to deceive anyone;
  • send false, automated or bulk form submissions, or try to get around the bot check;
  • copy the site’s content in bulk, including by scraping or automated collection, except for ordinary search engine indexing;
  • try to break into, overload or interfere with the site, its servers or its forms;
  • present Lenditia’s content as your own or suggest that we endorse you.

Content ownership

The text, calculators, design and other content of Lenditia belong to Lenditia or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other laws. You are welcome to read pages, print them and pass them on for personal, non-commercial purposes, and to link to any page. Republishing our content, copying it for other purposes, or using it commercially requires our written permission.

Our pages link to government agencies, regulators and other websites so you can check facts yourself. Those sites are run by others, and their content, availability and privacy practices are their own responsibility.

No warranties

Lenditia and its content come to you “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law permits, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including any warranty that the content is accurate or complete, that it suits a particular purpose, or that it does not infringe the rights of others. Nor can we promise uninterrupted access or pages free of errors.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law permits, Lenditia will not be liable for consequential, incidental, indirect, special or punitive damages, or for lost money, lost data or harm to your credit, that result from using the site, relying on its information, or dealing with a partner. Our combined liability for all claims relating to the site will not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100). Where your state’s law does not permit a particular limit, that limit does not apply to you.

Indemnity

If you break these terms or the law while using the site, including by sending a request with someone else’s information, you agree to cover the reasonable costs, losses and legal fees Lenditia incurs as a result.

Governing law and disputes

Texas law governs these terms and your use of the site, together with federal law where it applies, without giving effect to rules that would point to another state’s law. Disputes about the site or these terms go to the state or federal courts in Dallas County, Texas, except where the law of your home state lets you bring them there.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time; the date at the top of the page shows the latest revision. The version in effect when you use the site applies to that use, and a consent you gave on a form stays tied to the version of the consent text you saw.
